About Me

This is my second year instructing at Lanier High School.

Last school year, I co-taught Foundations of Engineering and Engineering Concepts with Mr. Riley second semester.

I'm not a teacher by trade, but rather come from 30+ years of outside employment.  I have done numerous things in my career, from flipping burgers when I was 14 years old, managing movie theaters in my late teens, climbing telephone poles for cable companies in my 20's, and providing technical and infrastructure support at one of the world's largest casinos by the time I was 30.

I was even a volunteer fire fighter in upstate New York for 3 years!

I became involved with CDAT through my daughter, who graduated from here at Lanier High School in 2017, and doing her senior year full-time at Georgia Gwinnett College through the Move on When Ready program.

CDAT was a perfect fit for her, as she is autistic and on an IEP.  She is the first student on an IEP in Gwinnett County to go into the move on when ready program full time, and we couldn't be more proud of her!

So I know first hand the power of CDAT, and am thrilled to be a part of this education process.
